Freelance Writing
My eclectic background can best be described as a large, colourful jigsaw puzzle. At first glance, maybe the pieces don't quite look like they will fit together, but after careful inspection, each piece falls into place.

What do my puzzle pieces look like? I have a bachelor degree in Literature and Creative Writing. After college, I worked at various organisations doing sales, marketing, copy editing, management and technical writing. My next puzzle piece is a career change entirely. I received a Master´s Degree in Education, School Counselling. Once I completed my training, I moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where I worked at international schools as a mental health and university counsellor.

After 8 years in lovely Copenhagen, I moved to Barcelona where I worked at another school while also freelance writing for travel companies in this vibrant city.
​
What do all these puzzle pieces mean for your business?
I have worked in vastly different organisations and professions in the USA and Europe. This means I have collected experiences, skill sets and tools along the way. I can therefore relate to you and your needs.

How does my counselling puzzle piece fit? As a professional counsellor, I have studied psychology in depth. I understand human behaviour. I have worked in a field where my job is to listen, which may be one of the most important undervalued skills in our world of instant gratification. I will listen to what you need, I am sharp in pinpointing what your customers may be thinking, and I work with high standards and integrity.

When I worked as a professional university counsellor, I wrote upwards of 25 references per admissions cycle and edited all of the teacher references. Why does this help you?
